What are the times of your services?
Sunday mornings at 8:30 am and 10:30 am, Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm, and Saturday nights at 7:00 pm.
How long are the services?
An hour and a half.

Where do I park?
There is parking available to the left and right of the Main Sanctuary, and across the street. Handicap parking is available in all three lots.

What should I wear to church?
From casual to dressy, dress with whatever you're comfortable with.
Where do I drop off my kids?
Toddler to High School classrooms are to the left of the Main Sanctuary. The Nursery is located across from the Main Sanctuary, around the right corner of the Church Office/Bookstore building.

Will I be expected to give a tithe?
"So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7). Don't feel obligated to give an offering. Tithing is for the members of Calvary Chapel of Escondido who want to support the ministry.
Where does my tithe go?
Operations of the ministry, both foreign and domestic missions, benevolence and local outreach.
How old is your church?
Pastor Pat Kenney was granted fellowship with Calvary Chapel in 1984.
What denomination is your church?
We are non-denominational, but are affiliated with Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, California with Pastor Chuck Smith.
What's your worship like?
We do everything from contemporary to occasional hymns.
Does your church exercise the gifts of the Holy Spirit?
We believe in the gifts, but excercised decently and in order (based on 1 Corinthians 14:40).
What is the mission of your church?
Win the lost to Christ, disciple the saved in Christ, and send those discipled to do the work of the ministry.
What is the emphasis of your church?
Christ-centered, verse-by-verse expository teaching through the Bible, with a great emphasis on the preaching of the gospel.
Do you practice communion?
We celebrate communion the first Sunday of every month. |
