Jim and Margie Stewart in Baja, Hungary Jim, Margie and Marla
Our family came to Baja five years ago from Calvary Chapel Vista CA. There have been many changes in the church since we have arrived. It has been an experience that has caused us to keep our minds on the things which are above and remember the calling God gave us to come here. We have been blessed in these years as we witness the work of God in the lives of the people here.

One of the advantages we have in Baja is being so close to the Bible College in Vajta. This has allowed for several students to come to our city on weekends and help out with our Youth Group. Almost weekly, we have a group of six to seven students come on Friday nights and teach the teens and lead the worship. VBS in Baja It has been great for the kids here to see that people are interested in them. We don't have a large youth group but the college kids faithfully come as often as possible. The students are coming to serve and it doesn't matter to them if there is one or if there are 20 to minister to. They are willing to clean the church, paint, help with VBS and anything else we need at the time. It has also been great for our 17 year old daughter to have some peers come and visit. She learns all the latest teen lingo and everything else she's been "missing out" on being on the mission field.

    CCBCE Spring 2006 Semester

Looking back it is amazing to see all God did in our 120 students, interns and missionary staff. We had our first class tripCCBCE Students near Jerusalem to Israel with 46 students and staff enjoying every moment. The trip really brought the Bible alive, to walk in the places Jesus walked, to experience firsthand what we study. We rode camels, swam in the Dead Sea, and several of the students were baptized in the Jordan River. We plan on offering this trip each spring.

It's not too late to sign up for the Fall 2006 semester. Visit us online for more info www.ccbce.com

    A Vision For Life - Summer 2006

"A Vision for Life" started June 24th with 20 youth flying in from the U.S.A. and Finland for six weeks of discipleship, missions training, Bible classes, and just plain ol' fun. Beginning with Bible classes and a "welcome weekend" in Budapest, students dove right into the program. Bible classes include Life of Jesus, Philippians, How to Study the Bible, Practical Evangelism, and more.

Among the highlights of the summer thus far are outreaches to gypsy villages in Serbia and helping with childcare for the Calvary Chapels of Serbia family camp. July 15-21st, A.V.F.L. will be in charge of a Vacation Bible School in Baja, Hungary. Wrapping up their time together will be a weekend in Vienna, Austria, to visit CC Vienna, and to tour the city.

It's incredible to see God changing lives already and the program is only half way done. What a way to spend a summer!

You could join us next year! Details at www.avisionforlife.com
